Bottle Cottage is a traditionally solid, stone built semi-detached cottage located in the heart of Harbottle village, within the Northumberland National Park. The cosy cottage, comfortably sleeps up to six people in three bedrooms (one double, one king and one twin), and also includes a shower room, a bathroom, an additional netty, a large kitchen with dining area and modern log burning stove and a fantastic living room also with log burner. (Electric heating is also supplied for your comfort).
The cottage, originally built in the early 19th century (supposedly with stone from ruined Harbottle Castle), has been lovingly restored as a welcoming holiday home. The earliest records of the cottage are as a bottling plant for the local brewery which is now the Star Inn, conveniently located close by.
Please note although there is no garden there is a garden seat at the front of the cottage, perfect for taking a morning coffee or taking in the vast dark starry skies, and an abundance of stunning countryside to explore on foot or by bike straight from your doorstep!
